Almost 4 Weeks.

So it has been three weeks since Kyrie graced us with her presence. :) It has been a rather big adjustment for Chad and I. (i guess you can include chad's brother Mark too).

The first two weeks went really well but this last week has been a little rough. But after re-reading some instructions we are now back on a schedule and doing really well. (knock on wood)Chad and I are both back to work. I am working as much as Kyrie, my mind, and my body will let me. Every once and a while I have to just get together with Stephanie for my own sanity. It has been a nice almost 4 weeks.

Christmas Pajamas!!

Well we had an all together uneventful christmas. :)

We got out of bed about 10:00 gave Kyrie her bath and then slowly made our way downstairs to open gifts. I think that we finally finished about 1:00. :)

First Bath!!

We gave Kyrie her first bath Christmas morning and needless to say she didn't enjoy it very much.

Presenting - Kyrie Lynn

Well as some of you know we now have a new addition!! We have been waiting patiently or maybe not so patiently to arrive. :)

So to give details we went in about 7:30 Friday morning to be induced but I had already been having contractions from about 3:30. They started me on pitocin and let me go. It was a pretty rough day. I threw up about four times and they were concerned because around 11:30 her heart rate started to dip after each contraction. This stopped but then started again at about 5:30. They began to discuss cesarean but at about 7:10 I finally dialated all the way and she was okay so they decided to start me pushing. I was very scared after not eating or most of the day that i wouldn't have the energy. Chad, Stephanie, and a wonderful nurse named Emily calmed me down and told me everything would be okay that either way i would have a baby. :) So at about 7:25 we started to push and by 8:34 she was out.I am not sure that i could have done any of this without Chad or Stephanie helping me throughout the day and through the pushing. She came out weighing 6 lbs 9 oz. She was 19 1/2 inches long.

We are enjoying every minute of being with our new little one.
